Plans for new facilities @ Caherconnell

We are delighted to announce that work is soon to get underway on brand new facilities for students and course co-ordinators at Caherconnell. These facilities will include full audio visual facilities for guest lectures, multimedia facilities for students to engage with course content digitally, wet room with cleaning facilites, student lockers, equipment stores and much more. This will further add to the rich archaeological experience which students at Caherconnell Archaeological Field School enjoy.

Caherconnells Mountain Haven Cafe is situated overlooking the impressive Caherconnell valley. We stock a variety of local produce including cheese made from the milk of the Caherconnell herd owned by the Davoren Family. Relax in this tranquil setting and soak up the atmosphere at Caherconnell over a cup of freshly brewed coffee, sample some local produce and enjoy the splendour of this quiet country cafe. Delight your palate with an array of fresh, mouth watering home cooking, from steaming hot scones and exquisite cakes to hot food and fresh salads. The recipes have been handed down from generation to generation and have lost none of their flavour on their journey.
