Would you like to learn the basics of Archaeological Excavation in the unique archaeological landscape of the Burren in western Ireland?
Yes? Then this is your chance!
Courses are open to all with an interest in archaeology from 18 years upwards. Participants are instructed by leading archaeological experts, on a 4 to 1 ratio. The courses are fully accredited by the National University of Ireland Galway.
**Due to the very low student-teacher ratio (4:1) A limited number of places are available **

Course Dates: 2012*
June 11th – June 22nd 2012 – Introduction to Archaeological Excavation
June 25th – July 6th 2012 – Introduction to Archaeological Excavation
July 30th – August 10th 2012 – Introduction to Archaeological Excavation
August 13th – August 24th 2012 – Introduction to Archaeological Post Excavation Processes

* Module 2, Intermediate archaeological excavation, is available to returning students during the first three sessions.
** Students can register for more than one course and, therefore, stay for more than two weeks.
*** Academic credits are available for all courses.
